Blog Every Day in May: Life's a Lesson

'What is the single most important lesson you have ever had?'
a lot of the time I am the person trying to help my friends out when they are having trouble and want advise which surely isn't because I know everything or because I've experienced everything they're going through. it's amazing to have people in your life who you can ask for advise and I am lucky to have people like that too, but a lot of the time the most important things are the ones no one can actually help you with, it's when you and you all by yourself have to figure out what to do, if you can do it and how.
now what I wanted was never the problem for me, I've always been good at dreaming and imagining how things would turn out to be and I always had some kind of goal. I was never the best at actually taking steps to make them come true though, it's always easier to dream isn't it?
my dream is to go to the UK and study there and for many years it surely was a great dream but nothing more and not many people actually thought it would happen (I'm not blaming them for not believing a 13 year old). I however knew it would somehow happen but of course things like that don't just magically happen so I learned my little lesson and did what I had to do to get into uni in the UK.
I'm not there yet but believe me nothing can keep me from moving over now. it hasn't been easy and it's not going to be easy to say goodbye to my friends and family but I will do it because I know I want it more than anything.
the lesson I've learned is not to give up my dreams, even if it seems too difficult, even if there's people who don't believe in me. listen to yourself and what you want and to the people who are there to support you. believe in yourself and do something to get where you want to be, it won't just happen by itself that's for sure but if you want it you most definitely can get there.

Magdalena
P.S. that might have been a lot of blah blah and not really be helpful for anyone but it's something many people have to face at some point.
P.P.S and eat good food and listen to good music because it makes it all more fun and easier.

Brilliant post. If people took this advice then they could learn a lot. Everybody has dreams so this is relevant to us all.
